Here’s one of my favorite quotes:

Nothing’s the same as it used to be.
Even the future isn’t the same as it used to be.
In fact, it never was.
-Groucho Marx

Even though I know it, I always have to read it twice!

I’ve been chopping and editing tomorrow’s blog. Here’s one of the thoughts that didn’t make the final cut but gives you a quick preview:

Recently, the spark of an individual came to me while reading a novel called The Lost Wife by Alyson Richmond for my local book club. It’s a love story with much of it taking place in Prague against an ominously unfolding World War II backdrop. Reading the book brought back a rush of memory from two years ago of a visit to Prague and a man named Pavlov. He showed me how the briefest encounter can make a lasting impression.

Tomorrow you’ll get to meet Pavlov too.

Until then!
