The Clockmaker’s Daughter

By Kate Morton

“I remember everything”’ – time, love, mystery, murder

Masterfully, Kate Morton has written another suspenseful, intricately-weaved beautiful story. Central amidst the cast of characters sits a spacious manor – home and hotspot of the intrigue while generations from the 1860’s to present day walk its halls. What I love about Morton’s writing is the seamless way she travels back and forth through time, keeping each character squarely in place so that as reader you have the fun of slipping puzzle pieces into the right spots. Definitely recommend The Clockmaker’s Daughter for readers who love history and literary fiction.
